TX State Fair

Monday was "Fair Day" for Z's school, so we loaded up and enjoyed all that the TX State Fair had to offer. We ate corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and their newest delicacy - "fried coke." Don't ask.

The boys checked out the auto show and I got to see this year's Marilyn Monroe exhibit. But the highlite of the entire day was the U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps concert! They were amazing and we all walked away with a boost of patriotism. God bless TX! ;)

Steve and I had a great time at the fair last year--our first Texas fair experience. We especially enjoyed the fried snickers. I'm not sure about fried coke, though. Texans are so creative! ;)
